Transition to Teaching Licensure
The University of Saint Francis offers two distinct Transition to Teaching programs, Secondary Education Content Subjects, licensing grades 5 through 12, and All-Grade Visual Art, licensing grades Pre-School through 12. Successful completion of Transition to Teaching (T2T) programs leads to initial teaching licenses.
Doctor of Nursing Practice, Nurse Anesthesia (BSN-DNP)
A CRNA is an advanced practice registered nurse that has received at least a Master’s degree related to the practice of nurse anesthesia. USF’s BSN-DNP Nurse Anesthesia Program is a three year (36 month) program. Students must complete their coursework in continuous, full time enrollment.
Doctorate of Nursing Practice, Post MSN to DNP Option
If you have already earned a Master of Science in Nursing, in two years you can earn a Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) with a focus on Population Health. The University of Saint Francis had a proven record of hybrid learning in the graduate studies.
The Master of Science in Nursing-Family Nurse Practitioner degree program will prepare you to provide holistic, comprehensive nursing care. You can attend full time or part time to complete your degree. If you attend full time, you can complete the program in two years. Our classes are offered in a hybrid format, which gives you flexibility to continue working while you earn your degree.
Physician Assistant Studies
The Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies is a competitive, full-time, 27-month curriculum, with a total of 98 credit hours. You will be in the classroom for the first half of the program and participating in full-time clinical rotations for the last 12 months. USF uses problem-based learning techniques in medical diagnosis and therapeutics courses. You will also have the opportunity to choose from a series of rotations, allowing you to personalize your education to match your career goals and interests.
