Online Orientation & Campus Resources

Online Orientation and University of Saint Francis resources are available to help you successfully transition into your studies in the Graduate School. Whether you are looking for information about how to properly format an academic paper or where to eat on campus, this is your one-stop shop for all your Graduate School needs. Please review these graduate resources before beginning classes.

Campus Resources

Student ID/Parking Pass

One of the first things you’ll need to do as a USF graduate student is get your student ID and parking pass from Security, located just behind Brookside. Signs posted around campus designate student parking.

Food

USF offers many dining options, conveniently located throughout campus. You can put money on your student ID and use it like a debit card at campus dining facilities.

Connect-Ed Alert System (School Closings)

If there is a need to cancel classes because of severe weather, power outages or other conditions that may require closings, our Connect-Ed Alert System will send a message informing you about these closings via email and phone. USF will also post information about closings on our website and social media accounts, and alert local TV and radio stations.

Campus Shoppe

USF apparel, textbooks, snacks and discounted computer software are available at the Campus Shoppe. In many instances, you can rent your textbooks for the semester or purchase an e-book. Campus Shoppe hours are Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

Fitness Center

Graduate students have free access to the Fitness Center, located in the Hutzell Athletic Center. The Fitness Center houses a variety of workout equipment.

Athletics

USF has 16 NAIA athletic teams. Attending a sporting event to cheer on the USF Cougars is a great way to show your school spirit.

Creative and Performing Arts

All graduate students have access to USF’s art galleries, musical and theater productions, and concerts. Bookmark our art page and check back regularly for event dates.

Academic Writing Resources

USF’s English Department maintains online resources, including our statement on plagiarism, writing resources and tips, and style guides.
