Transfer Graduate Credit
If you’re interested in transferring credit to the Graduate School at the University of Saint Francis for past graduate work, please contact your graduate counselor. Up to 15 outside credit hours can be applied to your USF master’s degree.
To be eligible for credit at USF, the following criteria must be met:
- Final course grade must be a “B” or better
- Credit must have been earned in the last five years
Approval of all transfer credit is the prerogative of the department chair or program director and the director of the Graduate School. You may be asked to provide catalog descriptions for the graduate course you’d like to transfer.
In most cases, workshop courses and courses regularly taught at USF may not be taken at another institution after you are enrolled in a degree program at the university. Once admitted to USF, you must obtain approval from the director of the Graduate School prior to registering for coursework elsewhere. Only grades of “B” or better will be accepted for transfer.
